Ewe & Ply

We are based in the market towns of Oswestry and Shrewsbury in Shropshire where we sell a huge, wonderful range of natural and ethically sourced wool, yarn and fibre from our little shops. Our yarn range includes our very own Shropshire Ply - a woollen yarn traditionally spun from the fleeces of our own flock and other local sheep then kettle-dyed by us in semi-solid colours. We also stock a wide variety of needles, notions, buttons and books.

Huzzah! The sun is returning!

There are still a few workshops remaining in this roll out so be quick and check them out. There's been lots of interest for more beginners knitting and crochet workshops so we'll try to squeeze some in!

From 1st May both shops will be on summer opening times which means we'll be shut on Thursdays. Open as usual all other days.

With Easter coming up also remind your that we are never open on Bank Holidays so both shops will be shut on Good Friday.

In a change of plans we will not now be trading at Wonder Wool. We will miss being there a heck of a lot and hope that all visitors and traders alike have a splendid time, and the team behind the show are not let totally raged!

Online orders are sent via Royal Mail and are posted out within 2-4 days. Occasionally orders are held up by moving stock between shops. Please let us know if your parcel is urgent.

Both shops are closed on Mondays.

Our Stitchin' evenings in April will be the 1st, 15th and 29th, 6.30 - 8.30pm in Oswestry.
